wow. kid is for real.

14k in his debut. put down his last 10 batters, striking out the final 7. 99mph fastball followed with an 85mph curve? wtf ridiculous. i was getting tired of the hype, but he lived up to it.

gonna be fun to watch this kid.

Re: Strasburg

nice outing for sure, but let's see what he does against a decent team that's not 12 games below .500 I notice they didn't give him his first start against a good team, like one that has a remote chance of making the playoffs

Re: Strasburg

top mate, well played.

i think you're right though. baseball, in my honest opinion, is the most inconsistent sport. peaks and valleys forsure. ain't that the truth.

i hope he does not disappoint though. :|

hmmmm ;) not looking good for this stud

his throwing motion is ridiculous, and looks like it will shorten his career unless he can change it

Re: Strasburg

Looks like Tommy John surgery for the kid. Never fails +anyone that can trow that hard, that young is bound to have problems. Man can he throw it.

Re: Strasburg

nothing to do with age, it's mechanics, if he doesn't change his throwing motion he'll be done very soon (after his surgery)
