Hey Arielus - who are the big players for Boca these days ?

#321996Post 5 of 17

Teves is the crack these days, although he isn't playing as good as he used to, some months ago, for the Olympic games.

We have Martin Palermo, who is the Goal man... Abbondanzieri, the goalkeeper, for Boca, and for Argentina's team.

Vargas is a great midfielder, with lots of speed, stamina, and ball distribution.

We have Guillermo Barros Schelotto, who is a FATSO! :P

And Rolando Schiavi, our great defender... he hasn't got a nice-looking play, but he is very effective.

The team is important as a whole...

Aren't Chelsea sniffing around Teves for about $US30m ?

#322005Post 7 of 17

they were.. but he's been sold to Corintians in Brazil for u$s22m

#322006Post 8 of 17

Corinthians, whose administrartor is Kia Joorbachian, is a friend / allie of Roman Abramovich. Kia bought Tevez for Corinthians, as some people say, to avoid some extra taxes that Chelsea would pay if they bought him directly from Boca. Some people expect to see Tevez in Corinthians for one year, and then, he'll be playing for Chelsea as quickly as you say: "Dirrty Business".

All very under hand.

I'm sorry to say, but Abramovich will gradually ruin world football.

#322020Post 10 of 17

either way.. Boca still owns 20% of Tevez :Naughty: :Naughty:

Oh, like Fergie tried for years but couldn't, with near-unlimited budget. Get real.

#322025Post 12 of 17

There is a big big difference in budgets.

Chelsea have spent big nmoney on promising English players such as Cole, Parker, Bridge & Johnson who simply don't get a game. This curtails their progress and stops other clubs being in the market for their talent.

While I can't stand Man U, at least they put the players they splash out on in their team.
