Pissed as hell that he ended up in pinstripes but I am kinda glad we didn't completely bend over and give him his 10 years/100whateverthefuck million.

We were 6 outs from the world series with a gimpy Ortiz and 1/2 the season wasted watching manny roll around the outfield and shit in the clubhouse. I still like our chances.

AL East is going to be a heart attack race this year. Already can't wait for it!

Not gonna happen.he'll be fully recovered with having the whole off season to get back to the Ortiz we all know.I wouldnt be surprised if he hits 40-50 homers this season.

whats the over/under on how long it'll take for Burnett to get on the DL??Also how long till Sabathia starts pitching the way he did when he was with Cleveland?? I Give Burnett 10 starts before his stint to the DL.I'll Give Sabathia till about the all star break.that should be about the time he returns to the mediocre pitcher that he is.Good luck yanks

Must agree with Buckman though that Burnett lives on the DL and CC will win a bunch of games but he's A-Rod on a pitcher's mound in the playoffs. He shits the bed and nevermind the Red Sox own him in the playoffs. As a Sox fan I must respect the Yankees for all they've accomplished but the buying world series rings hasn't panned out for anyone and they've traded away so much of their young talent over the years.
