Choke choke choke! Romo is a retard

#1134159Post 7 of 41

Re: LOLZ @ Cowboys

Owens is a great receiver, there is no doubt about that.

Romo is good when he plays well but other than that, he is WAY overrated.

If Owens doesnt get the ball, cowboys will never see the Playoffs... they need a decent runningback and a better QB and they wouldnt be too bad.

Re: LOLZ @ Cowboys

owens is a talented athlete, hardly a great player.

all his career he has been far more harmful than helpful to teams. how you can consider this making him a great player, i dont know. normally great players are ones that are impacting thier team in positive lights.

great players jeter jordan brady

talented players arod owens allen iverson

im seeing a huge difference in those two lists.

Re: LOLZ @ Cowboys

fuck that, TO was great for philly until mcnabb started to turn into a little bitch. TO made that team. TO is a great player, if you recognize his abilities and let him be the playmaker.

^yes, this.

the difference between those two lists: championships.

solid post sean.

TO doesn't get it, never will.

i agree but not to the point that you two are making.

TO is in a worse position than say, Brady or Jordan. for example:

Brady is a Quarterback, which is pretty much the brain of a football's offense, they choose who to pass to, who to give a chance at the football... TO is a receiver, he can get open all he wants but its the QB's decision to pass to him.

Also, Jordan was a Point Guard, which historically are the point scorers. Jordan was a great player no doubt, arguably the best basketball player ever.. But he did have his dark side... he wanted to win, at all costs, and there are stories out there about his darker side when he was on the Bulls.

As far as Jeter, i have no idea... not a baseball fan at all. :)

i agree they are team sports but why is it that 3/4 contestants for the Heisman pretty much every year are Quarterbacks?

because thats the way ESPN wants it

if it actually went to the best college football player this year would have went to Tebow

sure his numbers werent as good as they were last year nor were they as good as Bradfords.. but look at:

 1. the defencive rankings of the teams they played against... Tebow played against 10 of the top 50 defences Bradford 3 and against defences ranked 70 or worse Tebow played against 1, Bradford 8

 2. Most of the Gators games were over at half time so Tebow didnt need to stay in the whole game.. how many of UF's games was he out during the 3rd or 4th quarter?
I now present the short play: "Terrell Owens and Jason Witten's Next Confrontation"(Scene: the locker room) Owens (to Witten): "You are a doo-doo head." Witten: "I am rubber, you are glue. Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you." Owens: "Nuh-uh. Take that back, smellyface." Witten: "OK. I will. Because, when you think about it, if something bounced off me, it probably also would bounce off you because you have terrible hands." Owens (tearing up): "That's my hands, man." (End scene)
you're joking right? cowboys, playing last game @ texas stadium.... consider the ravens destroyed

#1136206Post 20 of 41

Re: LOLZ @ Cowboys

TO being TO is only part of his problem. the media is the rest. ESPN has turned sports into a soap opera. they magnify anything TO does ten fold.

no I'm dead serious.. I dont care where its played, Reed is aruguably the best DB in the game.. and TO is arguably one of the worst big game rcvrs in the game

Re: LOLZ @ Cowboys

well? lmao

I'd say Reed won that battle no? two picks in the 1st half, one of which was intended for t.o.

but how does a 77 yd and an 82 yd TD run taste for closing out texas stadium? lol

plus they might not even make the playoffs.. when will big money clubs in sports learn you cant buy a championship!

well, i mean, look at what the patriot's qb staff has done with cassell. The guy went from not playing a single game since high school to making them competitors this season. Moss is more comfortable with him and the rest of the team seems to be as well. Of course he's still a little lost in the pocket sometimes but he's growing into his position, kind of the same way Brady did years ago.

Re: LOLZ @ Cowboys

Fuck the cowboys. Why does every station try to ram them down our throats by showing their games. Thank God for NFL Sunday ticket.

They will never win another championship with jerry jones as owner.

Its great watching TO be TO. What a douche! They should sign ocho cinco next.
