Did they quit? or simply retire for a few seasons? They don't really need the F1 since they've got MASSIVE exposure on the IndyCar circuit.

But good on them, F1 costs all the teams some serious money that these corporations don't have the luxury of dishing out on ventures that bring relatively little in return.

I doesn't look good spending Millions on F1 when you are about to force employees into slavery. Honda UK are about to put workers rights back 25 years.

Max Mosley had requested that teams cut budgets by upto 85% which will mean the introduction of standard engines and gearboxes by as early as 2010.

I think this is the last resort, as extending the life of existing engines seems more feasible.
