haha, i was watching that game. we rewound it at least 10 times to watch that play and not one of us thought he was trying to "protect himself" as people keep claiming. LSU needed all the help they could get saturday. glad to see this play didn't cause too much controversy. Geaux Tigers!
ps - i wonder if that hit helped the ref cover his betting spread... :)

yeah, and the SEC hasnt said a word bout this....
the ref is one of the first black players int the SEC, so i wonder what they are gonna say in teh end..

btw. did u guys hear about that one ref who got ran over by a golf cart on the field? havn't read or saw the whole story.. but i saw it hinted at on the news tonight (?)
