The Cards could use Oswalt, too bad we never trade for any marquee players tho. We like to blow the dust off has beens and no names and rebuild them and squeeze a tiny bit more life out of them.

you dont need oswalt, duncan can teach a 4th grader to pitch at a cy young level. i'd be scouting littel league. (whole hearted compliment on duncan's ability to turn anyone into a great pitcher)

It would have been funny if Manny would have went to the Marlins. That way he could have hit a home run and raised his hands in celebration and hear crickets because the stands are empty.

Looks like the dodgers busted a laker trade. We essentially gave up nothing for Manny.

LaRoche never proved himself and was constantly getting injured..albeit he never got enough playing time, but the chances he had, he just didnt hit.. and I don't know how good this Morris guy really is. former #1 draft pick who in his first year had to have tommy john surgery!

I think our farm system has better prospects than that guy. Dewitt is imo faaar better than LaRoche.
