Re: FIFA 2005

sweet can't wait to play it. Can anyone tell me if a few issues have been resolved in 2005? 1st: does the player reciving the pass still stand still or does he receive it in stride? 2nd: can you pull the players off when they are chasing a ball out of bounds?

Re: FIFA 2005

fifa 2004 was pure and utter crap, but 2005 excells far beyond 2004. The dynamics are so much better in terms of carrying momentum with the ball and they've pretty much got it pat down where it's a mix of fast pace breakaway action along with the need to have proper and timed passing. 2005 is far more enjoyable and is now more realistic. one thing i'd like to see is adverse weather effects like fog rolling in or something and maybe some more commentary that isn't so dry. by far a great game and well worth purchasing.

i liked 2004 :FuckOff:

2005 will be much better though... the new ball control feature will be enough to make the difference

Fifa has excellent graphics, but not a great variety on gameplay. I prefer the Nba Live series. Looking forward for the 2005.

Re: FIFA 2005

Somebody told me that is very difficulto to score :?

#281733Post 11 of 26

FIFA sucks. PES4 ALL THE WAY.

#281842Post 12 of 26

^^^^ Yeah, not played either yet but I'm willing to bet PES4 on the Xbox is going to kick ass. Will check out the new FIFA though, must be better than 2004.

Re: FIFA 2005

Yeah cant wait to kick some ass, looks great but hope there has been a nice improvement compared to the last two

#282268Post 14 of 26

it's tough to score because you actually bring the ball up field via consistent passing. like stated, it's a mix of both breaking through with a solo player and timed passing....few little quirks tha tpiss me off like after you shoot or pass the ball, your player just sits there so they don't go after a deflected pass or shot right away.

Re: FIFA 2005

EA sports do it right , they are alwayys taking ppl's opinions and work their asses off to make any possible bad part of the game the besrt part in the next year. MVP baseball is awesome, hideki matsuii even looks back at his bat in the game like he does in real life

can't wait to get my hands on this

Re: FIFA 2005

fun game, much better ball control than fifa 2004...except when you make the double move (definitely takes practice to get these skilled moves down). passing is slightly tougher but this does force you to direct your pass with quicker timing. i disagree tho on scoring, found it easier. keeper is retarded when trying to block weak shots low to the ground. plus, it's still too easy to score off headers on a corner kick.

I have fifa 2004 and it was good. Never got time to really play and then i forgot about it. I know there were some things that truely pissed me off but i dont remember them. Maybe i will check 2005 one out

#288975Post 20 of 26

just got it on my xbox last week... am loving it... favorite sport games are soccer and hockey... love the continuous action...

Re: FIFA 2005

FIFA 2003 is still the best , IMO

#289612Post 22 of 26

Checked it out yesterday on ps2.

Fifa 2005 is good, but I used to play 2004 on pc and I think 2005 is not such a big improvement.

But how far can you go?! They always try to make the game much more realistic, but you only have a few buttons...

That is the biggest restriction I think... And you?

#289616Post 23 of 26

Winning Eleven 8, that's the game.

#289685Post 24 of 26

In Xbox is really good.... The flow of the game and the passing game is as real match.... The Xbox Live is Great Also,

The Carear Mode Is excellent.... You have to start as manager of crappy team... a secon divsion teaqm in any legaue. WHile you play you can simulate matches and intervene and start playing from half time if you want. Other Clubs make offers for your players. I am only in the first season but I belived that as the game goes good teams would what you as their manager..

Overall good job from EA sports, year after year they change the game by making better.

The MUsic is good.. from the top of my head I think I heard Scissor SIsters, Ferry Corteisn, the streets, and a Remix of Junkie XL.... For the people of latin american, they drop some Reggeaton, and shit like that.
