i'm not a huge NBA fan, because the NBA really isn't basketball... but...Boston sports = the height of classless, give me a fking break fellas. The only people worse that Boston fans are NY fans. That's a compliment within a jab. deep.

First off we wouldn't beat the shit out of an opposing fan for sporting his colors...we would heckle the shit out of him but not beat him like he was Rodney King.

Secondly Boston fans have a bad reputation but until you come and experience the Boston fans in Boston (not some of the pink hats and bandwagon jumpers that live across the country) shut it!

i've seen a playoff game in yankee stadium. i've been to camden yards. it was once my goal to see a baseball game in every stadium in the country, but i fell short. marriage, work, other things, etc. but i've bitten off a fair amount of sports cities. there is nothing like baseball. but this is a basketball thread, so ill add that i'm only mildly interested in who wins. it's interesting because it's lakers v. celts, but if it were any other series, tbh, i wouldn't be watching. being from the midwest, i was a huge larry bird fan, but for some reason i hate boston now. probably because of the patriots and sox, beating STL in recent title games: one stolen, one taken legit. i really hate the chowds.

That's nothing, I remember going to Raider games at the LA Colesium (sp). They damn near killed a Steelers fan who was with his family for what appeared no real reason. As far as the Finals are concerned, (being a Laker fan) what was built up to be the new wave of NBA basketball is still the same ol Spurs/Pistons type of basketball everyone has become disgusted with lately. The way Garnett is setting those moving screens, the Patriots might want to bring him into camp next season.

No doubt about that, Celts have the better team. Hit some big shots when they could have packed it in better stock up on confetti. Lastly, No sure what Phil Jackson is on but his zen approach clearly was outclassed by Doc Rivers positive vibe campaign, he got results.
