... begins tomorrow! Hopefully Phil Mickelson can pull it out this year in his home town. Lets just hope he doesn't grab a driver on the last hole if he even has a 5-stroke lead. :what

I'm very interested to see how Tiger does too since he's been out for a month or two. I'm sure he won't win, but you never know.

LOL! Phil is a goofball. He is praising god Tiger is coming off knee recovery.

#1034166Post 5 of 36

Re: US Open

can't believe tiger is in the mix. i wonder if his knee is sore today. and even though phil keeps making bonehead shots, he somehow is only +4... that guy is a miracle worker getting out of trouble. anyone see the shot from almost OB yesterday? insane.

Re: US Open

Phil will not even sniff the lead, Tiger scares the hell out of him

#1034190Post 7 of 36

Re: US Open

he certainly won't sniff the lead after that quadruple bogey  done and done.

Re: US Open

Tiger.. those last few holes of the 3rd round.. this guy is amazing

#1034248Post 10 of 36

Re: US Open

wow... do you think the bend over throbbing in pain midway thru the round was an act from tiger? i can't tell but does it really matter? i watched his whole round and everyone on that golf course is getting bitch slapped except for him. 100ft eagle? are you fucking serious? wow... that guy is just an animal. his knee might be hurting, but he has put himself in great position to win this thing. i can't believe it. i was cheering for rocco but his luck finally kinda ended. might be time to see what tiger can do tomorrow. although i'd still like to see rocco win.

#1034333Post 11 of 36

Re: US Open

^^Since Rocco isn't playing with Tiger I give him a better chance. However Westwood....he will fold like a piece of paper.

that guy is amazing whenever he plays... there are no words to describe him... pure god sent talent/luck/excellence

Re: US Open

I really dont think he was whincing in pain for an act or for the cameras, that looked real to me.. and this is Tiger, if anything he would try harder not to whince as to intimidate the other golfers showing them he is no pain, and they have less than no chance.. but instead.. umm, I'll just drop two eagles and a sick birdie to round out my day. good luck tomorrow "rest of the field".. lol

coming from someone that has had knee surgery, it can be fine whilst walking but then put some weird pressure on it, especially a golf swing, and that fucking pain jumps out at you.

I'm far from a huge golf fan, but I can not wait to Eldrick to tee off today!

How about that advert with Tigers dad.. "You'll never meet anyone as mentally tough as you your entire life".. talk about an understatement..

what about Phil and Ernie Els watching their ball repeatedly rolling back to them on the 13th.. Quadruple bogie? really? lol

#1034551Post 21 of 36

Re: US Open

what a finish yesterday! Hits his drive into the sand, mishits his second shot in to the rough, and manages to pull out a whale of a putt for birdie. Just ridiculous.

#1034604Post 22 of 36

Re: US Open

wow this is intense. cant believe how close tiger was on 15 for that birdie.

i'm multitasking... got the austria-germany match on one monitor, us open on the laptop, work on another monitor....

Re: US Open

^^^nope, that was so much to fun to watch.. my hat goes off to Rocco, gave Tiger everything he could handle, and really seemed like he was having a great time. I would have been happy seeing either one of them win =)

#1034648Post 34 of 36

Re: US Open

cant ask for more when the 125th player in the world, a 45 year old guy who has won 6 times in his career, takes tiger woods into a playoff +1 hole.
