I was watching a few vids on liveleak.com and saw several instances where really cars went flying off the road into crowds of people....but they didn't stop...they just got back on the road and kept driving. Is normal?

rally car racing is very dangerous, especially with the kinds of races they race.
if stupid ass people are stupid enough to stand on the side of a corner where a 60-100mph rally car is going to come.. they deserve to get hit.
rally cars do anything to finish the race, even if the car has been rolled over. if the engine runs, they Will finish.

the sport has taken a major hit in the last 5 years.
with petter and tommi leaving, colin dying, nicky grist going to the mic, and sainz's departure...
literally the sport lost all its stars within a 4 year span. shame too, because the rally de cataluna was a spectacle when it rolled through all those old, classic village roads......

I think blood and carnage is what they need. People complain way too much. Do they not know that if people die, that means shorter lines at the grocery store? C'mon, now.

my favourite sport, usually if no 1 is seriously injured the car carries on, its a crazy sport but most of the spectators bring it on themselves by standing in stupid places lol
i was absolutely gutted when colin died as i used to live in the same town as him and have been a fan of his for many many years, will never forget playing the game and listening to grooverider tapes and stuff, it just seemed to fit in perfectly
