Re: Celtics-Lakers

I too say Lakers in 5.

This will be great! I've been having so much fun watching the Lakers during the playoffs with my buddies.

Both teams have a mixture of vets and rooks, but only one team has the "official" closer/clutch bad motherfucker!

Go Lakers!

Re: Celtics-Lakers

hahahaha, no doubt. that picture is cracking me up.

i hope the celts put a rest to this "kobe is the next mj" bullshit. i am tired of hearing him being referred to as the next coming of christ. TEAMS win and the celts are a more balanced team than the lakers. although not to take anything away from the lakers and kobe, they are awesome, the celts just seem to have more weapons they can use.

Re: Celtics-Lakers

I'm deffo rethinking my lakers in 5.. lol

and this Kobe v MJ.. come on, no contest

#1029127Post 14 of 42

Re: Celtics-Lakers

just have to wait and see when the lakers play at home... that should tell a great deal about how this series will play out.

#1029130Post 15 of 42

Re: Celtics-Lakers

yeah, true, I'm hoping they go back to LA down 0-2

#1029151Post 16 of 42

Re: Celtics-Lakers

and Kobe continued his regular spectacular (no)show against the Celts. Cerealsy, every game he's had against them was a preview of last night... Goooooooooooooooooooo Boston!

and McCain

Re: Celtics-Lakers

fuck boston man!

The game was great though, it had drama, it was physical, everything you would want on the 1st game of the finals.

The Lakers had it in the 4th. What; they were down by like 6 with 2min left??? come on!!

Kobe ended up missing like 4 shots in a row and then all them foul calls.. end of game

I like the "inspirational" Pierce come back too. Very moving.

Can't wait for game 2 already!!!!

"inspirational and very moving"....my ass. That shit was the most orchestrated piece of crap I've seen. The kid goes down, complains that he can't put weight on his knee, get's carried away and put on a wheelchair, only to come back hopping his ass in 60 seconds. Sounds suspect to me. That punk has been watching to many James Brown's concerts, bitch learned how to put on a performance big woot. LAKERS definitely let this one go, I think the next match up will be a better played one.

there's no place like home......

#1033383Post 27 of 42

Re: Celtics-Lakers

damn, Boston still had a chance to win near the end... how come now the lakers get three games in a row in LA? I thought Boston had home court advantage.. I thought it was a 2-2-1-1-1 format.. doesnt seem fair to the team that actually has home court advantage

#1033405Post 28 of 42

Re: Celtics-Lakers

yeah, i was wondering why they changed the routine 2-2-1-1-1 as well. i gues they mix it up for the finals. maybe the constant traveling? i personally agree with you steve. seems like boston kind of loses its home advantage a little bit.

Re: Celtics-Lakers

and they said the western conference was the dominating conference?? ya ill have what they are smoking

#1035129Post 33 of 42

Re: Celtics-Lakers

Total domination, defense rules, the Celts are without question the strongest defensive team in the NBA, Rondo had a sweet game, KG, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce all with awesome games.

** One of the best moments of the night was when KG and Bill Russell met on the court after the game.
