New England Patriots set an NFL record for consecutive wins, counting playoffs, with plenty of help from the winless Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots won their 19th straight Sunday, a 24-10 victory built on two touchdown passes by Tom Brady and two more turnovers by the offensively inept Dolphins.

#275807Post 2 of 57

not only that, 76 yards passing from Brady...76 yards! And they still won by 14.

#275810Post 3 of 57

they seem unstoppable..

All things are stoppable...the point just comes sooner for most ;)

it'll come next week against seattle (wishful thinking maybe, but im allowed to hope) :P

#275827Post 7 of 57

yeah, and the combined record of their opponents so far this season is 5 wins 12 losses.. including the Bills and the Dolphins at 0-8, and right now the Bills are being shut out.

Not taking too much away from them, 19 in a row is great. But christ it seems as though looking at the rest of their schedule they might not lose a game for a long time. With buffalo, miami, cleveland and cincinnati, etc... Seattle and the Jets look like their toughest opponents.

#275831Post 8 of 57

seattle are on a roll dude. next week should be a good game

hahaha, sorry., I wasnt really trying to. Just saying if they get past these next two games, I dont see how they can be beaten. But then again, neither did the Chiefs last year until they played the Bungles, and now look at their free fall since.

GO Patriots!!!!!

better? lol

#275847Post 15 of 57

I'll tell you what tho, on a bit of a different topic, I will be cheering for the Red Sox. I freaking hate the Spankees!

Re: Nineteen what?

You think you can just change the topic in MY thread... :EvilFlic:

The energy around the city lately is insane. I work right near Fenway and god the parking bans drive me crazy!

#275853Post 17 of 57

Seattle's looking pretty damn good against St. Louis right now. That should be a very good matchup next week.

Well, "technically" your thread title is just a number.. so it could mean lots of things open for interperatation. Though I am proud of myself for drawing out the twisted finger emoticon, from such a nice girl. :LoveYou:

#275856Post 19 of 57

btw unome..you sure appear to know/like a lot of american sports for being a london transplant!

i like the rams...

#275860Post 20 of 57

yeah, well, you get what your given. I follow as much EPL (English Premier League) as I can. But I am a fan of most sports just not a fanatic about any one team, I also listen to alot of sports talk radio during the day. Plus I've been in the states for some time now.

I am just a pool of useless information.

#275862Post 21 of 57

Do you still have the accent?

God, im bored.

#275868Post 22 of 57

yes I do still have "the accent".

All my family is still there except for my mum, she lives in Florida, soon to move back home. Most of them live in Chingford, London. Except for my sister, in Telford, Shropshire.. up near the NE of Wales

#275872Post 23 of 57

I have a friend who lives in Wales...I can barely understand him lol.

#275874Post 24 of 57

Wales has some gorgeous countryside. Have you ever been over to the UK?

#275875Post 25 of 57

Never! I will though, sometime soon hopefully. There is so much to see around there, I cant wait. I would love to live there. I have always said I want to marry someone from anywhere around Britian heh.

#275876Post 26 of 57

Good luck with that! lol

You might want to narrow that down a bit to any where from England, dont want you to end up with some tosser from Scotland or Wales that you cant understand, lol.

#275877Post 27 of 57

Re: Nineteen what?

Itd be fun trying tho!

#275878Post 28 of 57

do you have that Boston accent?

#275879Post 29 of 57

bawstin

#275880Post 30 of 57

^^^LOL

uh oh.. your seagulls are fading mate!

#275881Post 31 of 57

Thankfully, no. I lost it when i lived in California for 5 years. Since I moved back...I work hard on pronouncing everything correctly. I hate the Boston accent so much. I make fun of my mom all the time, hers is thick.

#275883Post 32 of 57
uh oh.. your seagulls are fading mate!
ouch...just blew a 14-point lead...that hurts...

#275884Post 33 of 57

I have never had a problem "trying" to keep my accent. I guess with all my family there, and I have alot of english mates here made it somewhat a non issue.

#275885Post 34 of 57

Well DreamGirlie, after seeing this 4th quarter collapse, I dont think the Pats will have much to worry about with Seattle, lol

#275887Post 35 of 57

yeah, this is utter shite... dropped a 17 point lead

not looking good :(

#275890Post 36 of 57
