American League Playoffs;
Minnesota Twins vs New York Yankees Boston Red Sox vs Anaheim Angels
National League Playoffs;
Los Angeles Dodgers vs St Louis Cardinals Houston Astros vs Atlanta Braves
I personally feel that this may be Boston's year especially if the Twins can take out the Yankees in the first round. If that doesn't happen, I wouldn't mind seeing another Red Sox vs Yankees division series.
Cards V Yanks ...hopefully.
Nonetheless, my season was a success just watching the cubs lose it. lmao.

it's a long shot but i am going for the twins, i feel that they are due for another title
Our pitching is suspect. i'm nervous. I think we'll beat LA, we're pretty much owned them in the regular season. But i'm hoping the Braves beat the Stros...i really don't want to play the stros in the NLCS, they're the only team that has a winning record against us.
As to the sox/yanks...it's kinda sad, but the Sox take it in the ass every time from the Yanks, and they've done nothing recently to make me believe another series will be any different.
I don't care who wins. As long as it not the yankees.

Dodgers are coming off a great win on Saturday (53rd cfb), Sunday = Exebition game.
The regular season was one thing against the Cards. This time around Dodgers will put up more of a battle against them for sure. It's still very hard to believe they might beat the Cards.. but it wont be a total humiliating loss... they just might take em' out.... (fingers crossed) :mrgreen:

If the Twins do not take out the Yankees then I will pray that some other team does!
i'd like to see Cards V Yanks...the two greatest teams in baseball, historically speaking.

Who has the best 1,2,3 rotation going into the playoffs? I like the sox: schilling, pedro, wakefield combo...
everyone should know the astros are going to win. in fact, i predict they will pitch at least two more no-hitters against the yanks in the finals.
.... and a no-hitter is a no-hitter. no matter if you use one or 5 pitchers.
everyone should root for the 'stros simply for the fact that they let the cubs' hopes get up, then crush them. i love it. dusty baker is crying himself to sleep tonight in sosa's warm embrace.

the best one, two maybe but definitely not three. wakefield can eat it. but even then pedro hasn't been all that sharp as of late. the yankees are pedro's daddy.
I am sure the Braves will choke, and the Yank-mees will win some how.

I'm in Houston and an Astros fan so I'm biased, but I think we'll beat the Braves this time around. Astros are on a roll right now winning 18 in a row at home and the best record in baseball since sometime in August. Only problem is we have first 2 games in ATL and ATL has beaten us in the playoffs everytime we get there.
No idea who'll win the AL and don't really care, so here's my NL picks.
Astros over Braves in 4 games. Cards over Dodgers in 3 or 4 games.
Astros vs Cards will be a great matchup. This all depends on how hot both teams are after the divsional playoffs. I'll predict later.

Santana owned the Yankees yesterday, 7 innings pitched an no earned runs. Minnesota's defense was perfect (5 double plays, and Tori Hunter's catch to rob a home run from the Yank's). The Twins looked impressive.

I was waytching this game, it was nice to see that bloke that lost his father hit a home run. And the HR that A Rod got taken away.. I saw some hot seat thing on ESPN, and that player said if he could rob anyone of a homer, it would be A Rod.. lol
