Re: Superbowl

Rooftops and bridges all across New England have been packed today. Walking to work through downtown Boston was like attending a wake, I've felt like puking all day. It's miserable.

Pitchers and catchers can't report soon enough.

Re: Superbowl

One of the best super bowls in decades all the drama you could handle.

Re: Superbowl

i guess the patriots took a page from the recent new york yankees.... choke.

wasn't rooting for eli at all, but i guess the baby can have his candy... he produced quite a final drive with a little help from his receivers for an exciting superbowl.

Years ago, I was at the Superbowl where Tom Brady and the Patriots beat the heavily, heavily favored Rams, so I know what you're going through. It's a sick feeling when you think you're coasting towards a coronation and some upstart team gets in your way.

Re: Superbowl

I think what happened on sunday night was the perfect karma god finally fisting the classless patriots. It had to happen eventually, and it did on the grandest stage, with the most on the line, for all to witness. Scoreboard Billicheat. Everything in the last 30 minutes tells you all you need to know about Billicheat:

  1. Bill walking off the field before the game was over - classless
  2. Bill not shaking Tom Caughlin's hand - classless
  3. Bill's post game "interview" - classless
  4. Hey Bill, way to not give your players any credit for the amazing season they had, just to say -"I'M dissappointed."

So sick of that franchise and the way they carry themselves.

Re: Superbowl

What makes all of this even worse is that shithead Mercury Morris is still going to be relevant.

God I hate sports.

Re: Superbowl

There is talk now about more investigations into the patriots spying on teams, most notably for me, that a video guy for the PATS says he can testify that he recorded the saturday walk through of the RAMS the week before the superbowl vs. PATS.

This is going to get ugly.

Re: Superbowl

I really didn't expect the Giants to do it, but I'm glad they won. It was a good game, Manning and the rest of the team really stepped up when they needed to.

Re: Superbowl

it will be ashame if the patriots get caught in an even bigger scandal... not that i'm a fan by any means. and if the team didn't know anything of it besides coaches and staff... that is REALLY gay for the players. who knows though. maybe tom brady went through surgery and his arm was replaced by a terminator arm. perhaps our senate should look into that.... i am tired of watching US sports deteriorate. people are no longer trustworthy in this country.
