Re: Nfl 2007
anybody else as fanatical as me and has the ticket? acutally i mainly watch my team were i grew up-browns and my current home team- bucs but love the ticket cuz at commercials or half time i got all the other games to choose from.
dude, if you've got the ticket, you've got to start watching the Red Zone channel -- 718 in HD, I think (although that may change every week). It's like having someone that is watching every game with a magic remote control who will switch back and forth between games any time something noteworthy happens or is about to happen. Think of it as live highlights. I've actually been watching the Red Zone channel over individual games for the Chiefs, Rams, & Bucs (my teams) because if one of my teams gets into the red zone in one of my games, they'll be switching over, split screening it, whatever. It's the most revolutionary thing ever.

How about that injury to Cadillac? That looked like a horrible injury, the sort of thing that can end or at least severely restrict a career. I'm hoping for the best for him -- if he can come back and play next year, it will be a great thing, I think...

Re: Nfl 2007

+1

They are in full fuck-you mode right now and I love it. Last night was a perfect example - 5 minutes left, up by a ton, game is in the bag and they're throwing down field and going for the end zone. I cannot wait for the game at Indy, sweet fancy Moses are we going to blow the doors off the RCA dome.
^ rehire marty. STUPIDEST move ever to fire that guy after a 14-2 season.
Trust me on this one, the Chargers' current record notwithstanding, Marty Schottenheimer is a parasite that sucks the hope, dreams, and happiness out of whatever unfortunate team he latches himself to. There is a threshold to the amount of great regular seasons you can have only to be summarily shown the door the first round of the playoffs.

For all that he's accomplished as a regular season coach, his playoff record is an eye-popping 5-13. He is the King of False Hope, and for all the heartache he has caused me, I would welcome the opportunity to spit -- no, vomit -- in his face over and over again.

As you might have surmised, I am a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Anyway, it may be tempting to assume that SD would be better with Marty and maybe in the short term (read -- until after game 16) it would be, but in the big picture, SD is better of without him.

Re: Nfl 2007

The NFC is a bunch of mediocre and inconsistent teams so whoever wins the AFC championship pretty much wins the Super Bowl. Even teams that are doing well in the NFC in terms of record like the Giants (horribly inconsistent offense, poor pass defense), Cowboys (poor defense), Packers (no run game) have glaring weaknesses that will be exposed easily by any AFC Superbowl contender.

Re: Nfl 2007

I don't agree... the afc is weak.. I thin it will be an NFC team that wins it this year.

#938474Post 62 of 78

Re: Nfl 2007

Wonder if they will leave Brady in on the 4th quarter of this game. I can't wait to see one of them get injured soon! I will laugh as the perfect season goes to shit...

Really? Then name a team from the NFC that can give the Pats a challenge...

#939165Post 65 of 78

Re: Nfl 2007

^^^ I watched the Pats put on a display last weekend that was like no other team I have ever seen play the game before... 2 seperate occasions they went for it on 4th down when they should have just kicked a field goal... they seem so mentally tough and 3 levels above any other team... only team i can see giving them a run are a healthy Colts team, but even then we saw what happened a few weeks back... as for the NFC teams competing with them, no chance... they embarassed Dallas IN DALLAS, the best team in the NFC by 21 a month ago... GB is ok but dont have the players to beat NE, and everyone else in the NFC is mediocre at best in comparison... in the last few weeks NE hasnt even played their starters most of the last quarter... they play with a different mentality than any other teams in the NFL... Pats / Lions Superbowl, Pats win in a squeaker!

Cheers

:Cheerz:
Really? Then name a team from the NFC that can give the Pats a challenge...
Green Bay is a very talented team.. I think they can beat them.. Even Pittsburgh from the AFC I think will beat the Pats in the playoffs..

I predict Steelers- Packers Super Bowl..

Oh ya and the lions are shit... not sure when they are going to realize that these star players are worthless without an offensive line to protect them..
first sad story from the NFL

Re: Nfl 2007

Brady is tough! Colts doing a much better job the NE on Raven's ... 23 in 1st quarter....

I have a feeling we will win in the playoffs and it will be great!

Congrats on beating Pitt though...God they suck!

Re: Nfl 2007

colin cowherd summed it up best this morning on espn radio: when teams play the pats they know what they are going against, they play with their all, they almost play on sheer adrenaline. teams cant do that every week; the week after playing the pats the teams are 4-8, with the cowboys winning the only decent game against the vikings. needless to say the ravens were spent after playing them.

the cowboys :)

It's going to happen again in about 2 months. No more spygate nonsense, no more Peyton/Brady comparisons, just the best team in the history of the game - hope everyone is ready for it.
