Anyone excited about this one tonight?

Damn you got Culpepper & Moss vs McNabb & Owens. Two of the most exciting qb's & two of the most exciting playmakers.

This is definitely a huge game, but it would have had a larger impact later on the season with playoff implications.

Re: Monday Night Football

Minnesota represent!!! Vikes win......not even a question.

#259612Post 5 of 30

I hope it is a good game. If one of the two teams doesn't show up to play it is going to be very lopsided.

#259783Post 11 of 30

Will definantly be an exciting game, but the city of brotherly love will surely get evil on any viking. GO EAGLES!

Re: Monday Night Football

At least the Eagles covered....one of the few favorites to do so all week.

And how about that TD TO? I mean, the lack of one TO?

Re: Monday Night Football

Complete bullshit..

yeah the viks shot themselves in the foot with penalties but alot of those penalties were bullshit! the refs are getting it in the butt from chunky soup.

plus that owens touchdown was NOT a TOuchdown!

we should of won but we didnt, we will when these teams meet in the NFC championship!

Yeah the penalties killed the Vikes especially on that play that negated the touchdown. If Culpepper has a 340+ yard passing game, you'd be expecting a much closer scoreline. Why wasn't terrells touchdown a touchdown though? I'm keen to know.

Re: Monday Night Football

Yeah, minnesota totally dominated the clock but they screwed up twice when they were within 10 yards of the end zone. The fumble was costly and the one where culpepper was just short of the end zone on a scramble.

This was like the titans vs colts game where titans seemed to dominate the game, but got outchanced in the end (I couldn't believe titans gave up 21 points in the second half)

The replay showed that he went out of bounds and or didnt have possesion of the ball when he landed.

If you see the replay, didnt look like owens had the TD... but Tice fucked up and didnt call a challenge

Re: Monday Night Football

I cant believe the refs blew that call and dante fumbled on the one ...

I really wanted the Vikes to win, I hate the Eagles being a Giants fan ...

He's a good coach but he totally messed up there. Vikes are my team. They're still pretty weak defensively but hopefully they'll jell. I was so happy they got Antoine Winfield, that little dude can hit. I loved when he lit up Ricky Williams like 10 times last year and made him fumble a couple of times. Also, Kenechi Udeze looked good too. They'll jell on defense I think. This was a preview of the championship I think.

Re: Monday Night Football

For me being a Vikings fan this game was very dissappointing to watch. I'd like to say they controlled the game but the Philly defense gave the Vikes O-line hell, and took away the running game. W/o the run, Minnesota was forced to pass, but could not throw the usual deep ball b/c Philly was pressuring Culpepper with the crucial blitz. I'm surprised Daunte only fumbled once. And to go into the red zone close to five times and only score one touchdown is unsat. Oh well, they better beat the crap out of Chicago next week. Go Vikes...
