clemens and his agent play the teams like a fiddle. nothing i like seeing mroe than having clemens sign to the yankees in an effort to be a decent team, which will more than likely NOT bring a world series. he's only one arm... not worth that much money. we'll see what happens when the yanks get their pitching back to full strength.

28M$ is definetely an absolute thrill...I am curious to see what is gonna happen. Hopefully getting back Pavano and with Wang, Mussina and Petitte in shape, all is asked to Clemens is probably to go for 5-6 strong innings as the number 4 or number 5 starter.

yup yup

with (hopefully) a healthy phillip hughes coming back for the secondhalf, and roger joining up, the yanks might actually have a pretty decent staff with wang, moose, pettit, clemens and hughes for awhile. you are spot on, all he has to be is a 4/5 starter depending on hughes, and if hughes turns out to be the next scott kasmir (not using johann, no one is johann) he could be the 4 and in the playoffs, we could essentially have a really pissed off clemens in the pen waiting to pitch if a starter gets knocked around, and dont think that if he comes in as a releiver while the yanks are getting hit, he wont be ready to throw high and inside.(finally a yanks pitcher who will throw at players like manny, poo holes, papi, and others.)

I love the Rocket. I wonder if this latest signing with the Yanks will boost the value of my Clemens' rookie cards?
