Much respect due to Milan, they had the perfect gameplan. Played conservative, and relied on their defense to give them counterattacks. Liverpool seemed to dominate the possession, but didn't get many good chances (due to Milan's excellent D) and squandered the ones they got (Gerrard, are you kidding me?). Milan had approximately 2 great chances to score, and they converted both. Inzaghi is seriously the master of his craft. I reckon that his deflection off the Pirlo FK (Kaka took a dive to win that FK BTW) was intentional? If so, thats just amazing.

Liverpool did well to contain Kaka, and in general their defense played well. Milan just converted their few chances into goals.

Agreed, Crouch should have started. Notice how many crosses Liverpool played into the box. Crouch would have been the perfect striker to have in there!

Wery boring game, Liverpool seemed helpless, Milan showed again they're very experienced team, but hoping to see attractive football from them is pure utopia. They have many great players, so it's a pity both goals were scored by that bastard Inzaghi, Shevchenko was a real striker, "Superpippo" is not.
