Come on stupid, using a chair, you're a pitcher for crying out loud, show some skill that you've got an accurate arm, use a baseball nail him in the head or if that fan is standing up spewing that shit at you, nail him in the crotch with the baseball :twisted:

Which ball park is it when on two seperate occasions a fan rushed the field and attacked somebody? IIRC the first time is was a coach, the next time it was an umpire. Some people need to learn how to relax.

will be interesting if it is ever known what the 'fans' said to the players that set them off. texas has had several documented problems the last few season with unruly fans in oakland. last year, carl everett had a cell phone thrown at him while playing in the outfield.

Im not advocating in anyway tossing a chair at someone, but as they say, it takes two...

i wouldnt throw him out of baseball. however i would suspend him for the rest of this season, and possibly some of next season. fine him at least $100,000.00 make him do a formal apology to the woman injured as well as compensate her for her doctors fees and medications. this is unacceptable behavior by any sports athlete. that fan must have said some harsh shit to make the player reach the boiling point like he did.

what the player did is total bs... he wasn't even the guy being heckled.... here is the thing ...when does hecklin become offensive and personal? ...fans dont have the right to belittle players eventhough they're all over paid primadonas whose salary is paid by the fan..it's like going to work and having your boss yell at you the whole day and then you snap but you are the one that's crazy.... anyway it sucks for the lady and can the pitcher ..send him to the minors and make him ride the bus
