hehe yea like you said during last years season, lrn is a fair weather fan.... we arent on top of the world, we are a poor team that isent suposed to win shit, but we do sometimes, i just like watching the a's game on the yes network, and the announcers getting all gitty about mo rivera coming in becasue the know the games over, and our clutch utility infeilder, drafted by the mets, bangs a a 3 run homer 3/4 up the foul pole to walk off and win the game.....its jsut so sweet.... money cant buy you love yankees, im sorry

Just woke up, after watching the game last night. chase wright did his job. He got important outs when the situation looked to be out of control, this is the most important thing. i believe that in three or four months yankee pitching will be outstanding when everybody will be in shape, i am not worried at all. and about rivera, lrn u r right being so hyped up because of what happened because u will not see two things that happened sunday never again: mariano blowing a save against the a's and marco scutaro hittiing a walkoff hr!

yes we lost 5 straight. yankees do it in april (once in a while). red sox do it in september (often).

i think that u guys are forgetting that until2 days ago our number 1,3,4 pitchers were absent. of course beckett will win vs rasner, and of course dice k will win vs chase wright. well, not really of course since in a 3 days series they scored only 4 more runs... and congratulations to tampa bay, i am sure that they will not finish last in al east... lol

keep in mind thatthe yanks lost thier first 7 games and were 10-21 the year they won 117 games.

but hey, im not a blind fan, the pitching staff right now is in shambles. but also, if you factor in a few things, the yanks could have a staff compromising of

wang, mussina, pettite, clemens, and hughes at the end of the year. that way, roger wouldnt have to be rocket, jsut good enough as a 4 starter and the pressure on the kid who has been clalled the best prospect in baseball would only have to be the 5th starter and in the playoffs, could easily become the long man.

our bullpen is fucked. seriously fucked. like the drunk white girl at her first college party where the basketball team shows up. fucked. over used non stop.

and all this is going on while we have the best offense in the game.... sickening. when will they realize that pitching wins, hence our late 90's run with guys like j.key, cone, pettie, clemens, etc
