wright state beating butler and getting in for the first time in 15 years.. a cinderalla team.

the NCAA tourney is by far the single greatest sporting event on the planet.

the fightin illinani better get a berth, and god dammit if hofstra isnt gonna get screwed again. hofstra had a better RPI than 34 teams who made it last year, and are borderline again this year.

connecticut is 1-9 against top 50 teams. but they might get in.

UNC is on a roll. and hansboro just got woken up. look out.

im gonna put wisconsin above florida this time around.

Wow this years tourney really doesn't have the "Cinderella" team like the years past. I think UNLV is the lowest or highest seed however you look at it with a 7. There is going to be some GREAT game this thurs-sun. I still think Florida is the team to beat but they better play a lot better vs. Butler than they did against Purdue or they might be packing their bags and going home instead of the Final Four. UNC is playing really good also but I think the 9-10 man rotation that Roy Williams uses might come back to haunt him. Sure it keeps everyone fresh but it never really gives anyone a chance to get into a groove. Hansborough is playing like a mad man. I think he had 33 and 9 against Mich St. And don't overlook Georgetown! They are playing great and are very well coached. I would like to see a Florida/ UNC final though. Even though I'm a UNC fan, I think Florida if they come out and play like everyone knows they can then they will be the first back to back champs in 20 years I believe.

duke in the early 90s i think had back to back... it'd be the first time a school has ever won nat'l titles for football and basketball in the same year. don't think florida is going to put it together though. my thoughts are they'll get beat if they play kansas. no way they can get up and down the court as quickly. we'll see though! gotta love march. :D
