Re: to recap...

nailed it on the head.

but with baseball coming up, i have to say that jeff weaver is a fucking idiot, he finally finds a place where not only can he pitch, but pitch at a high lvl, and runs for the money. moron. watch the cards again this year, cuz they should be healthy and a lot more cohesive on offense, but their pitching took a small hit. mets and phillies are where its at though in the NL. yanks have one more cancer to rid themselves of...... arod. then we can start to think championships again. toronto is the second team in gonna follow this year. HUGE offseason. took second place from fuck boston last year and only got better. and boston right now, doesnt have a closer. man.... the AL east is insane. and the NL central must be followed daily. im actually frothing at the mouth right now thinking of the season kickoff week....

god i cant fucking wait for opening day........ fuck football. it sucks.

nah, thats not it, imma freak, i love the game. its real life non scripted reality TV where, usually, the player isnt trying to become famous so to speak. there is an emotional involvement in baseball, pro basketball and even moreso college hoops that you dont get from the NFL. in football the players are hidden, the games are entirely too predictable, and you only get 16 games a season for your team. one day a week simply isnt enough for me, and the NFL player isnt nearly likable. a few are, like farve, curtis martin, teddy bruschi, but as a whole, they arent there. with the other 3, you can flip over to espn every day, learn something new and watch 3-4 games a week, and follow other teams a lot better than you can in footy. especially in the free agent era, to use a personal example, i loved follwoing the cards in 2003 and 2004 because of the yanks dumbass trade to obtain giambi. i literally tried to watch every national broadcast just because i loved tino. in the 3, you can watch a guy get hot, go cold, be clutch, fail, etc. example, last year, i watched the last 20 games or so for the phillies b/c of the run for the playoffs. not to mention utleys run at history, and the yanks had jeter and cano gunning for the batting title, my favorite stat award, cause it shows consistency. or guys out in san diego, where thier only shining light is trevor hoffman, who you get to see 2-3 times a week do his thing. football just doesnt have it. you get 2-3 games on a sunday and a game on monday. nothing else.

bring on baseball. pitchers and catchers tomorrow in florida and arizona. and the NBA run to the finals approaches next week, and in 2 more weeks, you get the single greatest sporting event on the planet.... the NCAA tourney. 18 year old kids playing for pride in front of rabid crowds and giving thier all every second. so thank god football is gone. gimme some hoops and lets get to the diamond.

really dude? Are you aware that Pujols' kid is literally retarded and you are making fun of an actual retarded person? I realize you're not exactly Captain Sunshine, but c'mon dude, cut him some slack...

Re: to recap...

Sean is aware, hes just that big of an asshole. really.

Btw, that isnt Pujols own child. When he started dating that girl, she told him from the start she had an autistic child. Pujols didnt run for the hills like a lot of other people would have, namely rich athelets, instead he became the father that kid needed, and started his organization to help disadvanted children. Pujols may be a bit of a crybaby sometimes, but off the field he counts where it matters the most. Funny tho, the sports writers never write about that, instead they choose to print that pujols is some kind of primadonna because hes not the best interview, then that gets picked up nationally, and all of the sudden, pujols is a jerk.
