4 cousins currently attending, 8 aunts & uncles and 4 cousin graduates, mom & dad both alumni, and lastly, a science building was named after my Grandfather this year all at the U of F. It is definitely GREAT to be a [B][COLOR=blue]FLORIDA[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkorange]GATOR[/COLOR]![/B]

what the hell happened to osu? they looked like they were lethargic and weren't playing for the national championship. the florida offensive line was killing the defense and then the speed of the gators was too much.

sure it was a long layoff for osu and they lost one of their best players early in the game, but those are poor excuses.

with michigan and osu both getting their asses kicked badly, i start to think the big 10 conference is overrated. i even think that lsu could probably beat osu. you could make an argument that osu should be rated # 3 or # 4 in the country instead of # 1.

with usc winning and boise state winning their games, this really makes a good argument for a playoff. wouldn't it be great to have teams like fl, lsu, boise st, wisconsin, and usc keep playing?

oh my GOD. WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL WAS THAT. I can't even remember the last time I've seen OSU display such sheer inability to perform anything that even RESEMBLED pass protection. Good God, it was like pee wee football. It's like they were just masquerading the whole season as a good team...blah

Seems like OSU didn't even show up for that game yesterday. Florida looked really impressive and stepped up to the challenge. Congrats to the gators.

Don't worry Buckeye fan. You'll be back in the preseason Top 5. With Akron, Youngstown State and Kent State as your big, tough out-of-conference schedule oppenents, you'll probably be undeafeated headed into the Michigan game.

Meanwhile, in the SEC, they'll be beating each other up again, and you'll be looking pretty.

And to think the SEC was supposedly having a bad year because all of the top teams had a loss or two and didn't have any offense.

Well duh!!! They all had losses because they all play each other and had no offense because they were playing the best defenses in the country every week. :lol:

I agree, but this is one of the rare years that the BCS got it right. Michigan kept crying about how they supposedly got robbed...then proceeded to get destroyed by a 2 loss (2 unranked teams, mind you) USC team. OSU and Troy Smith were unstoppable and the Gators stood no chance...remember all of that talk? Not anymore.

I hate the BCS as much as anyone, but it all came together this season. Controversy, huge upsets, instant classics (the Fiesta Bowl)...it was awesome to watch it all unfold.
