sunday, we beat minnesota convincingly, with a career day for chad "my shoulder is fine" pennington and coles and cocherry going off (i remember getting flamed for calling cocherry a great player. now he is top 5 in yards after catch.)

the GIANTS SHIT THE BED AGAIN!!!!!!!

they were superbowl contenders on day 1, and we were supposed to win 3 games. now we have a better record, and are playing with house money. i dont expect the playoffs, still ill be happy if we make it, but i cant allow myself the thoughts to demand it. but december is fun again, we are playing for something, and the giants are shitting themselves out of the playoffs.

the thing here is..... i dont hate the giants, actually i want to see the coughlin/mannign duo do well. i love coughlin's style, and i hate peyton with a passion, so eli winning a super bowl before him will only make me happy. but i simply cannot stand the giants so called superstars, strahan, burress, schockey,and barber. they all have big mouths and bigger egos, yet no track record of doing great. yes, barber was top 5 back for the last 2-3 years, but he didnt win shit and carries himself like he has been a walk in hall of famer for years. he is no longer worried about football, but his media career. schockey has possible proven himself to be the worst teammate, with all his antics and the throwing of the helmet and yeling at eli. strahan.........shut up and get on the feild, stop yelling at women. your single season sack record is overrated. farve fell down twice to give it to you (shows the class of b farve) and buress..... he has cost the team 3 games with quitting on plays and not tackling.

all of them have thrown the coaching under the bus, when in fact, if they had the talent they think they posess, they could win with mark messier coaching them. on at least 10 occasions this year, those 4 have openly said coghlin is a bad coach, when they were doind the same shit under jim fassel, a guy who won them a super bowl. once those 4 are off the team, and barber and strahan should be gone this year, and burress should be traded, i can root for them again. they are the antithesis of what the late great wellington mara wanted in the NY giants.

and yet the jets keep rolling, with no rumblings from the clubhouse, a 35 year old coach, and no top level superstars. the team is on the same page, defense stepping up each week, pennington looking good, the receiver corps looking great...

all under the radar, with no flare ups. class act team with no BS. just playing tough and above where they should be. we might be the most under- covered footy team this year. to think that we might actually have a shot at the postseason...wow. good for the jets, great for eric mangini, wonderful for all us second team fans here in NY.
