no, he isnt welcomed here, not after cheating abd breaking babe ruth's record. people went out to shea when he played the mets in yankees uniforms and were throwing shit at him.

but our beat reporter who is at the meetings just said this morning that cashman was seen with barry zito for a long time, and boras wasnt there.... maybe a sign?

Putting all Barry's bullshit aside, he really belongs in the AL, as a DH. Why he's even interested in talking to NL teams is beyond my imagination.

For a second there tho, i have to admit, the thought of Pujols, Bonds, Rolen, Edmonds in a lineup is kinda freaky. Still tho- fuck that guy.

enjoy him not making plays in left feild, and getting thrown out at second, the entourage, the utter annihilation of your clubhouse, and admunds hitting into a lot of double plays cuz they walk bariod.

fuck him, i hope he is blackballed out of the sport. i would rather have ricky henderson back than this asshat.

he defined heart in sports. and always acted classy in season, the few bad things you heard about him were only in negotiating. everyone that played with him loved him. and he is still playing! he is on some minor lague team, playing for minimal salary simply b/c he loves baseball.

Tempting though that would be, I've got to say no sale. Even the shiny happy Cardinal fans would have trouble cheering that guy.
