what a fg to end the tennesse/indianapolis game! anyone else watching that? i actually quite like the colts, and generally root for them, but vince young and the titans won me over yesterday and i was jumping around by the end of that game.

seahawks squeeze another win... not the most confidence inspiring performance with the playoffs around the corner... but we are 8-4 in the nfc west with the rams and 9ers both 5-7 so hopefully we can finish strong and get some momentum going in.

in other news, da bears win their division, the giants are looking worse and worse, and the chargers are looking awesome and awesome-r.

I gotta give the Bills credit but the Chargers were just too much, they look downright scary right now. Their D is brutal and Rivers and LT are playing out of their minds. If they keep up this level of play as they go into January, they are going to roll right through the playoffs.

And the Pats are killing me right now - it took a nearly perfect 4th Quarter from Brady to pull off a win vs. the dangerous Detroit Kittens, [I]at home[/I] mind you. Three turnovers, a fucking safety and a shitload of stupid penalties - if we don't turn it around quick we are getting bounced early from postseason play.

And we still have to go to Miami next week and two more road games against Jax and Tenn to close out the season - games that suddenly look a whole lot scarier than they did a few weeks ago. Man this shit stresses me out way too much.

comon, everyone has to admit we are at least the feel good surprise this year, personally i thoguht they would be 3-13, 4-12 this year. right now, we are at least going to have a fun december. playing with house money right now. 4 games left and not one team with a decent record. we have a small chance at even playing in the playoffs. im not expecting it, but good god it would be awesome, as nearly every fan wrote this year off as a rebuilding year, looking for consistent little improvements, but WOW. coach is doiong great, and our former coach isnt doing shit with larry johnson.

also, pennington at least is healthy, thank god.

and we are doing this without one of the greatest running backs of all time...curtis martin. i just wish i had a chance to see him pass barry sanders for number 3 in all time yardage. but ill happily embrace number 4 when the guys ahead of you are emmit smith, walter payton and barry sanders. not bad company curtis.

If they do make the playoffs - there's a chance their first game will be in Foxboro. That game won't get hyped up at all.

iut would be hyped, a lot of anger from NY over belicheck's frankly unusual treatment towards mangini. of all people, BB has exuded class and respect all his career and this is schocking. he, and trust me, the NY media is waiting, has yet to call our guy by his name all season, he just calls him the NY coach, so the fanbase is really pulling for him.

but to brass tax, i wouldnt be surprised if indeed that did happen, that there would be a 14+ point line in favor of you guys. the pats are the equivelent of the san antoniono spurs and miami heat right now, just get into the playoffs and then it begins, they have lost a lot of emphasis on thier regular season play it seems with weird losses and early doubts, but as usual, they are right there.

im loving it, mostly b/c i expected nothing and understand we are overacheiving to the point of late season let down, but im taking it. at least, on sundays, when i pull into the meadowlands, i know im gonna see a good effort from players, and unlike the past few years, the coaches. when we played the bears, we got shutout, but held them to 10. pretty good factoring in our real lack of offensive stars/playmakers outside of cocherry. and i damn well know that when i go sunday, we stand a chance.

its been a huge change of culture here in gang green land, and its only looking up. thank you eric mangini and mr. schottenheimer. its your team now, lets get a great programme moving, your passing with flying colors year 1. especially since you werent here for the draft, so you have yet to get a draft class in.

yes we are. dude, the giants are one thing away from ripping the shit out of the league. its amazing they keep playing like this, they really have a decent grouping and should be running away, but big mouths and bigger egos mix with NY media and a hard nosed coach...... im done feeling bad for them, and it has nothing to do with coughlin, eli or the fans. its all on the big 4 mouths, strahan, burress, barber and schockey. all of them think they are the best ever, and only one is hall of fame material, and he hasnt won shit yet.
