no articles, but he did file for free agency and hinted all year he would do what is best for his children and pending time with them. they live in atlanta. you do the math.

yaeh, i know his whole family is here and he's been talking about this but i didn't really expect it to happen. i fucking hope so. and how cool would it be if maddux (also a free agent) signed back with them too. he'll probably stick to the west coast though, if i had to guess.

hey, that move isn't written in stone yet and honestly if the Mets don't start signing some first rate pitching over the offseason (whether he stays or not), they may find it much harder to better or repeat this past season anyways.

yeah i guess the mets are having a hard time getting their pitching back. strangely enough, thats the same thing that derailed the braves.... their pitching left them.
i think mike hampton will return next season as well... whether he stays with the braves or not is unkown. i haven't heard anything about him in forever. but that'd be 4 solid starters if glavine and hampton came back, along with smoltz and hudson. i still haven't made my mind up about kyle davies.

probably thought he had a better chance to win a WS??... i'm not sure, but he was ready to go back to the braves as soon as he signed with the mets. didn't make much sense to leave atlanta except that or $$... i think i recall when he signed with the mets i don't tihnk he was doing all that great any more. maybe the braves were looking to trade him back then.
