in three weeks, they are going on 8, yes, EIGHT, incidents where players may or may not be criminally charged..... their trustees are meeting today to decide the future. but with nearly a third of roster facing suspensions or jail time in the near future.... i say cancell it. enough of these thug lifers pulling this shit and ruining a game..

did anyone see #26 hitting people with his helmet!?!?!?

nuts

Re: bye bye miami

the worse part sean is that I am a die hard UM fan and graduated from FIU (the team the fighted with). So I am embarassed from both. It is a shame but it all boils down to coaching and discipline. Coaker is gone. He lost control.

Not to mention he isn't a very good coach or recruiter. I say get the hell out of The U and promote Randy Shannon.

Re: bye bye miami

i completely disagree. you can't say it is the coach's faults. coker is not a good coach, i agree, and he has a HUGE forehead. :) but it is absolutely impossible to control people that act that way. thugs. period. you can only hope that the coach tries to enstill some sense of respect, you can't force them to be respectful. that is why we have high schools with shootings, etc etc. i'm sorry, one person can't control how their whole team/class acts. those apes should know right from wrong and have the decency to respect that.

My Dad, who played offensive tackle for the FL Gators back in the 70's would always tell us stories of how Miami was the worst team to play, dirtiest, thugs, etc...

Re: bye bye miami

I am a Miami fan and have been since the late 80's when Jimmy Johnson was their coach. That was a total embarrassment for that school and football program. That program hasn't been the same since Butch Davis left. I know Cocker can't control what those kids do on the field in a situation like that but imo they have had more problems since they lost to Ohio St in the national championship. I don't like him as a coach and I don't think the players really care for his coaching abilities from what I've read in the past. Like I said before either bring back Butch Davis or promote Randy Shannon and watch how fast that program turns around. I mean they almost got beat by fucking DUKE today. A 5 point victory at Duke is not acceptable in Miami, I don't give a shit how many players are suspended. The canes 3rd and 4th string should blow Duke out.

Re: bye bye miami

^^^ I agree. Coker fucked up by firing his coaching staff last year. Dumb move. Face it, they suck. Now I get a double dose of my teams sucking. The dolphins and the canes:hanghim:
