tonight, when its 7-2 in the 4th and pedro has given up 11 hits, and is taken out of the game, what is it gonna be like in mets land when they realize the ''ace of the staff'' is el duque.

looks outside window
Tonights game should go a full 9 innings so after that start by Pedro, when our bullpen shuts the door and the Mets use their combination of getting guys on base and speed to come back, and we win it in thrilling fashion, I will tell you about Mets World.
Starters win short series, bullpens win long ones. But I'll take El Duque, the man is solid. I don't see the problem with him being 57 years old, he's not even the oldest guy on the team, being ten years younger than Julio Franco.
PS- isn't Rivera pushing 50 himself? I still haven't forgotten how we tatooed him and Johnson back in May, can't wait to see it again! :)
Re: kobe
rivera is 34 i think.
Re: kobe
36 going on 37, +8 for the standard Danny Almonte factor
Re: kobe
the Mets got smoked. :(
Re: kobe
like a pole in poto's mouth.
Re: kobe
25-1 in two games, and shitty hitting...like i said, el duque is now your ace. good luck against a lineup that has the potential batting champ hitting number 9.
Re: kobe
bring on those sorry chumps, there is no comparing a meaningless game to post season action, pedro may be INJURED, but this team will indeed be there when the time comes
btw, what happend to poto?
Re: kobe
he is around. and i think he found a real deal boyfriend as well. from what he has told me at least. good for him. mikey is one of the hippest cats out there.
Re: kobe
Oh, good for him. How did he meet A-Rod, anyway? :p
