USA Upset By Greece Team USA saw its gold-medal dreams come to an end on Friday when they lost 101-95 to Greece in the semifinals. Greece, the defending Olympic gold-medal winners, used efficient offense and plenty of zone defense to disrupt the USA's fast-paced gameplan. Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 27 points and Dwyane Wade added 19. Team USA built up a 12-point lead in the first half but saw it wither away and headed to the locker room trailing 45-41. proves it is more about the heads of the players on the team, not the talent the players have. hence the suns making it to the finals with shawn marion as thier big man. wade, james, anthony, all selfish me me me players who wouldnt be able to shine jordans shoes. those guys dont make anyone better but themsleves on the stat sheet. i hope they dont even medal.

they did significantly better than the olymics, though. they just lost to a team that had a streak. i guarantee you germany would never shoot that well again on any given day.

hey man, i agree with you, im a huge NBA fan and i see these guys daily. they might be able to go off for 40 in a random game, but none of them, even dwade, is a winner. these guys just want the ball, then a clearout and then they try to breakdown thier coverage, they never look for the open man like jordan did with guys like kukoc, kerr, paxson, horace grant. etc etc. jordan made all of them famous and got THEM the rings, these guys just want the ball and the endorsement money.

ill take my man steve, who btw is the reigning, repeat, MVP any day because he makes guys like raja bell, leandro barbosa, and the others great players. how else is the only cool guy from france, boris diaw, become a MIP, playoff force, and awesome passer when the year before he was the 8th man on atlanta, who had the worst record int he NBA.
