i was laughing for ages last night, ESPN had a report on the team and obviously they had no clue that coach K really doesnt give a damn what your contract pays you, who you think you are, and whether or not you are used to being babied. lebron had this look on his face like "who the hell is this guy, im lebron james''. well no, to coach K, you're number 12 on his roster list. and he doesnt give a damn, obviously, since he is insinutating that shane battier will start over lebron. god i love ego checks for spoiled athletes. bonds, owens, and now the NBA boys. they interviewed dwayne wade and if you read in between the lines, it was like, screw this guy, im a NBA superstar. we'll see in a month when you have your first game.

i think that as a sport player you will always be hoping that you can represent your country against the best players of other countries. I just dont see that pride in american players. They just dont care, they get so much attention and shit in this pop culture that they couldnt care less. Last World Championship in basketball they didnt even make it to the finals, last year on baseballs world champ. they got teached a lesson. Soccer ... please Seems like theres another spanking coming this way

You also have to remember that when they comprise a team from the US that's made of professional players, they're not used to playing with each other and therefore they run the possibility of not meshing since they can't read each other's actions quite like the teams from other countries where the players have been training, practicing and playing together for a much longer period of time. I'm not defending the US players at all but I know that many people have a problem with grasping the obvious. :lol:

btw, the initial roster is going to be released next week i think. should be fun to see who K cuts, cuz you know this guy doesnt give a damn about lebron, dwade, or kobe. he cares about the name on the front and what you can bring to the other 4 players, not what you can do
