Randolf didn't want to win that game because he refused to use the bullpen. Only fitting then that we turn around a loose the first game to Pittsburg.
So the Mets - Yanks finish another season of interleague splitting the games. It is amazing- no matter how good or how bad either team is in any given year, they are always neck-and-neck, it really is a great rivalry.
The Mets are stumbling into the all-star break this year. In previous (crappy) years they would catch fire just before the break and then loose all momentum so maybe this year it is the opposite. (I can only hope :))
