i was never a roddick or federer fan. roddick is overhyped and under talented. federer is great but has the enigmatic factor of an aborted fetus left on a hot street on a summers day.

when ISN'T a united states player over-hyped in an international sport? roddick is good, there are just better players than him out there. when he is on fire, nobody but federer can beat him. personally, i think it was stupid to hire his brother as his coach. getting rid of brad gilbert was also a mistake, i tihnk. sure, his game wasn't going where he wanted while brad was coaching, but he certainly hasn't done anything but get worse since he fired brad.
