Anyone see this? I'm sure I care more than most because I'm a Cardinals fan, but rookie Adam Wainwright hit a homer in his first at bat in the major leagues on the very first pitch he ever saw -- and he's a pitcher.

Pretty funny, actually. Carpenter went down as a last minute scratch, so they had the bullpen pitch the entire game. The hitting of the Cards' pitching staff was the big story of the day, though, with a homer, a double, and Jason Marquis' pinch hit triple all coming from pitchers. Good stuff. :D
