Arsenal, Chelski or Man Utd. Who really care? Hopefully West Ham United F.C next season will play against this three big clubs.

What are your thoughts on Owen not playing today? Think he's gone?

#234990Post 49 of 79

rumour is he's real bound

but so is viera? we'll see :P

#234994Post 50 of 79

right I heard all that too, and I am sure Owen is going to go. I think it will be good for him and England. And Viera, fuck him, he is one of the dirtiest players, and whinges about how he is always fouled. Whatever frog. But, I wonder how it will affect Liverpool.

Re:: The 2004-2005 FA Premier League Season Thread

I think Chelsea will win, the've built some solid players on top of the quality they already had. The manager seems very focussed

Liverpool are going to do much better this year too

Personally I think Man United's lack of players due to injury, suspention and competition will give them a start they will not recover from

My team (Birmingham City) should do well this year, can't wait for the season to start!

we've now got the class to in areas we lacked last season!

this is my ideal line up [web:df904ba457]http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/birmingham_city/squad_selector/default.stm?team=birmingham_city&form=442a&g01=dG1&p0=dD6&p1=dD1&p2=dD3&p3=dM3&p4=dM8&p5=dM1&p6=dM7&p7=dM2&p8=dA3&p9=dA4[/web:df904ba457]

and finally Arsenal being the quality they are will come a very close second

my prediction

Chelsea Arsenal Liverpool Man United Birmingham City Newcastle Middlesborogh Tottenham Charlton Aston Villa Fulham

Suspect it's gonna be the usual suspects at the top of the table with either Arse, Man U or Chelski claiming the title. Unfortunately as a Baggies fan I shall be inspecting the premiership table from the bottom up but if we can finish fourth from bottom I'll be a very happy man

#235500Post 64 of 79

I think he will be missed if he leaves but hey nevermind?.

Now if Gerrad left, there would be trouble.

While we may be languishing in the so-called 'Championship', Spurs last championship was, erm, 1960-61 and the last time you won the European Cup was... oh yes, NEVER!

^ im not concerned with the past, its the present. :YeaRight: oh and do you happen to remember the last time spurs won the FA cup? who did they beat in the final again.. i forget :WinkNSmi:

Real sign Owen

any thoughts on this one.. i think cisse is a good player with much potential for liverpool, but they are sure to miss michael up front

Yeah, you got me... all we can do is reminisce.

Dunno about Owen, ?8 million seems cheap although he only had a year on his contract and hasn't been in prolific form recently. And Cisse and Baros should do pretty well if they can play off each other.

#239386Post 77 of 79

^ i believe its supposed to be ?8M plus a player. isnt it? :?

either way, i agree.

Yeah, they got Antonio Nunez as well but no-one seems to rate him :?

Yep but liverpool do get Nunez included in that price. A good move for Owen, i though the last few seasons he has?nt played the best he can. Liverpool may well be a better team without him, inspire them a little more. Barros should well score a few more now.
