Anyone watching the first round games? Edmonton is playing Detroit pretty tough so far. I think that 4 series are tied up 1-1. The Lightning got a BIG win in Ottawa on Sunday. Did anyone see the hit C Sarich put on Chara in the 3rd? WOW what a shot. Coming back to Tampa for games 3 and 4 of which I will be at. GO BOLTS!!!!!!!!!!

^^ yeah, kinda had trouble getting back into it after the strike. Also, I'm in St. Louis, and they're terrible, so it hasn't really been on the brain. Normally, I will have been to a number of games over the course of a season -- this year, not only did I not go to a game, it didn't even occur to me to go to a game.

Besides, it's baseball season now!

I got season tickets to the Lightning and I only missed 5 games all year including preseason. Yea the strike sucked big time for us here in Tampa after winning the Cup.They have a young time still but it would have been nice to have played last season so we could have had Dave Anderchyck for one more year. And yes it is baseball season but here and Tampa we only have a minor league team called the Devil Rays so its HOCKEY SEASON.

Yea I would love to see it because that would mean my team would be in the finals again but I don't want to see Kiprusoff or Iginla ever again. Those guys are insane!!!! I was at the finals game when Vinny Lecavalier dropped the gloves with Iginla. I was thinking WTF is he doing but he held his own I think. That was a GREAT series and I would love to play the Flames again.

^^^^^ They played like shit lastnight!!! Stupid ass plays. At one point the Sens were on a 7:00 min power play! I have never seen anything like that in my life. Thursday night if they don't win, its going to be tough to win this series.

It's already tough enough to win this series, even with Ottawa's backup in goal. Extremely poor and inconsistent goaltending is story of the Lightning's season this year. I'll tell you this though from some inside info I received, the Lightning contacted Chicago to make a trade to get Khabi back and the Blackhawks thought about it and decided against it. If the trade would've gone done it would've made many a Tampa fan very unhappy although it would've solidified our goaltending situation.

Edmonton's goalie is playing phenominally. Legacy and that great "palm" save right at the end. Too bad he played it right to the Edmonton player. Doh! And we should have been given the win, just out of embarassment on Edmonton's part. I mean, what sort of team uses a net with a hole it in?

That really would have pissed the Tampa fans off if they did. Plus he didn't really have a good year this year. 17 wins and 26 loses with a 3.35 GGA is not his normal form. I know he was on a shitty team though also. I don't think Graham played that bad, our defense just plain out SUCKS! He has giving up some soft goals this year though. Bring on game 4 is all I can say. Put last night behind you and move forward. Emery is a good goalie but the Lightning had plenty of chances in the first period.

im an Av's fan and im not surprised that they are up 2-0 in the series against Dallas ... imo they have always been more of a playoff team rather than a regular season team .. this is not one of their best season by far and it shows especially when they were dropping games at the end of the season

Yeah that was a horrible game yesterday for the LIghtning....I am starting to get worried....I sure hope this off season they find a decent goalie....I would love to se Luongo sign here but thats probably a long shot.
