That goal was scored in some mini tournament just before World Cup 98 if I remember.

He did something similar from near the corner flag in La Liga from open play.

And he's still worth seeing now IMO.

yea I remember seeing that one.

He had a sweet goal in a friendly match agains paraguay I think towards the end of the world up qualifiers, similar. And that was only last year.

But he is getting old. My guess is he will not be with Real Madrid next year (especially since they are signing someone who plays his exact position (Ashley Cole ?? I can't remember)).

the one against frnace is brilliant, he knew that was in as soon as he hit it.. goalie had lead boots on, lol..

the second one is even more amazing for two reasons.. the angle, and the fact it was on the run, one touch, going against his body. terrific player.. the only bad thing i can really say is his antics near the corner flag when he acted like he got shot.. forget which match it was.. help?
