Re: World Baseball Classic - anyone watching?

agree with wanni. good games, the latin teams play with heart. america will have to prove it to me though. the latin fan base is great. hopefully this kicks the international game into swing. the euro teams have been good too. piazza and deluca could start a nice euro fanbase too.

Re: World Baseball Classic - anyone watching?

OK.... I won't go into a long rant here but this whole thing is ridiculous imo. "playing for pride and country" blah blah.... Last time I checked Mike Piazza grew up in Norristown PA not Italy as did most of "Italy's" team (I don't care what you tell me your grandparents growing up there doesn't count).... and I could go on and on here about some of the other teams in this thing as well. Meaningless tripe.... Anytime a baseball game can end in a tie tells me all I want to know... I'd rather watch the WNBA.

Re: World Baseball Classic - anyone watching?

Freaking Canada beat the U.S.! First, basketball and now baseball. The end is near.

Re: World Baseball Classic - anyone watching?

The games don't end in ties. The Cuba v. Panama game ended the 9th inning in a tie and they went until the 11th to determine a winner. No ties here.

bahahahaha.

Doesn't Canada usually whop your ass in Hockey also?

One thing that shocks me I can not believe Canada would beat the USA in basketball or baseball.

Sweet I am so happy for my country.
