To me what seals the whole deal is Bonds lackluster attitude towards the whole thing.... "Hey Barry, are you going to read the book?" Bonds: "No"... and then adds that "He doesn't care", and it's "Nothing new".... If I was a guy who constantly said "I never knowingly took steroids" and a major novel was written supposedly exposing everything I ever said to be a lie and calling into question the validity of my legacy I'd be yelling "liar's" to everyone and anyone who would listen and then I'd sue the writers, the newspaper, his publisher, his lawyers, his family, etc..... This book is apparently very well researched and written and hopefully forces this idiot out of baseball. I loved watching him and honestly gave him the benefit of the doubt before the whole Balco thing came to light but after that and this screw him...

I don't think his knees will be able to hold up this season to break the record. (or so I hope) 5 years of roids will really feck up your joints, especially as someone gets older.
