Umm so where does it say Rape. I read about groping but no rape.

He also was aquitted. And yes it is possible that women lie about shit like this b/c the person is famous.

Now before you probably will go off on the rant and rave that I' m insincere to women who have been raped stop b/c I'm not, my ex-girl was raped, so I know full well what that person goes through.

Call it what you want, rapist, sexual offender, assualt...he led a double life, er, used to lead a double life. He was a criminal, a drug addict, and good ball player. unfortunately, in that order imo. I remember when that story broke about him assualting that woman. Several other stories also broke at the same time about people seeing kirby all hyped up on drugs or whatever. Hearsay possibly, but it is what it is. He never recovered from that press.

sad news indeed...I really loved that guy as a ballplayer. He had such a great attitude on the field. And who knows how long it'll be til someone challenges his lifetime batting average again...highest since WWII was no small feat in today's day and age. RIP. :(

he gave my shildhood hero his nickname ""donnie baseball"" and between the two of them, got me into baseball. watching the two of them every year to see who would have a better year was so much fun.
