With respect to Benfica, that is a great draw for the Reds. All the other big teams playing each other, there's going to be some caualties, and we've avoided Munich, Madirid and PSV.

Well being a gooner it could have been worse, we could have got Barcelona. This is going to make for some great football matches.

oh dear Gooners, oh dear. Going out of the champions league and most likely 9th in the league after you lose to Chelsum in the league this weekend

to be honest I dont see real beating arsenal. arsenals form in europe has been excellent. I cant see chelsea beating barca this time although they have been winning they havent looked convincing

Arsenal couldnt have got barce as both won there groups. benfica for us, happy enough, we'll do what united failed to do i reckon. could go all the way again, hopefully we will make a couple good signings in january, vidic of spartak moscow-centre half supposedly and sambrossa of benfica, would prefer joaquim myself, bit pricey though

I?m Portuguese, but I hate Benfica. Really...I can?t stand them. So I hope they get thrashed. This is considered anti-PC around here, since I was supposed to "oh, but they?re representing our Country, blah, blah, blah..." like everyone else.

Fuck that... only low-lifes support Benfica. Unfortunately, that?s 60% of the Portuguese populations, so I?m in the minority wishing Liverpool trash them. And I mean, TRASH them!

Having said that, I?d like to correct the name : it?s Simao Sabrosa, and he was actually "made" at my club (Sporting, see on the left), where he played till he was 21. And I think he?s better than Joaquin, as much as I also hate his guts for having gone to our rivals...

Fantastic games, and great for Liverpool as 3 of those teams are gone. Hopefully if we can get past Benfica we can go on and play and beat Madrid in the final.
