there's always the carling cup

good enough for the club after the way they treated Keano, not one player on the pitch tonight with a bit of kop on to hold it together.

Re: Manchester United Fans

soccer sucks

here is an example of thier play by play ""he passes to beckam, beckam to lundford, lundford passes to smith, smith passes to charles, charles passes, wait no, out of bounds, throw in to beckam""

repeat that for 30 minutes then shout GOAL 10 times like you're getting blown by a threesome of pamala anderson, kiera knightly, and liz hurley while winning 350 million in the lottery and finally beating tetris with kate beckinsale sitting on your face in her birthday suit.

then go back to ""pass, pass, pass, pass pass pass pass ""

Re: Manchester United Fans

football is my first love. I spend every spare penny i have driving round Britain to whatever crap hole (Bolton, Wigan etc) Spurs are playing in that week. Most of the time we lose our away games as well. Going to football is much more than the game, thats what makes it different to a lot of sporting events. Theres no cheerleaders or anything like that, just 30000 drunk blokes chanting funny songs at eachother. I love it!

Oh yeah, unlucky ManUre, looks like the first American Franchise in the premier league isn't having things its own way.

Re: Manchester United Fans

sightless, find a download of Liverpool v AC Milan, 25th May 2005. Watch that and tell me the sport is boring.

There's a reason it is the biggest, most popular sport in the world.

Re: Manchester United Fans

the reason its so popular is cuz all you need is a rock and some tape and some open space. every other sport requires equipment even basketball.

Re: Manchester United Fans

As a die hard red and although i was pissed off last night. In the cold light of day I believe this was a good result for the club . Changes need to be made for united to reclaim their status as the biggest , richest, best supported and most famous sporting institution on the planet . If we had made it through into the last 16 and had another mediocre season then Fergie would still be in charge next year and the Glaziers would still be dropping chump change into the transfer kitty . Great managers overachieve with the resources they are given . Fergie has underachieved for 5 years .

Fergie had 10 years of great success that no united fan should ever forget about and should always be greatful for . But just like Fergie shows no remorse or sentiment when showing the door to a player who has outlived his usefulness . United should do the same with him .

Thats it exactly bart. I dont like man u but my dad was an die hard utd supporter all his life and if he was alive today he would have said the exact same thing. I watched the game in my mums and she was like " your father wouldnt be happy with you for all the stick your giving them " but I told her he would be in total agreement with me as its gonna take a result like that for the club to wake up to itself.

Re: Manchester United Fans

Malcolm Glazer's Magic, He wears a pirate's hat, And when he saw United, He said, "I'm havin' that!" He borrowed lots of money, From lots of US banks, But he's going to get it back By ripping off the Mancs.

HA HA.

Re: Manchester United Fans

Look at the table we are still the second best team in the league . Also this is the first time in 10 years we havn't progressed into the later stages of the champions league . Also our front line would walk into any team . Or would you prefer Drogba and Crouch .. Man U haters been waiting along time for this moment . It is a fleeting one . Make the most of it whilst you can . When you have a fan base of over 2 million a stadium that holds 50% more than any of its rivals ( goes up to 79,000 capacity next year) AND we will always fill the seats . Chelsea are a souless collective filled with the best money can buy . But they don't possess anything priceless . Madrid and UTD unlike Chelsea have a history, a fan base, players money can't buy and they generate their own money . And everyone else ........ They ain't in the same league . I live in a city where a third of the population can feel no pride in the achievments of it's own team and can only get passionate about football when my teams name is mentioned . This is why they are reffered to as Bitter Blues . So all these fools more interested in our results and form than their own teams should vent their frustrations elsewhere at UTD we enjoy these reactions because it stems purely from jealousy :)

It was a good game, with a nice goal from Geovanni and a solid game from the defenders, and for about Ronaldo, he was under pressure.. poor kid, playing on his own country is always a trouble :lol:
