i hope this cvnt gets into a car accident and loses his throwing arm, reallly i do.

he is the twat of the year. :evil:

#222831Post 2 of 24

who is he?

#222833Post 3 of 24

why is he a twat?

because he wanted to play for the Giants?

He's not the first one to demand where he wants to go ya know.

John Elway did the same damn thing.

It happens all the time with superstar athletes.

Wow dude, that's harsh. Did you have too much Starbucks? Breathe in, exhale out. You still have the Yankees. :D :D :D Take care... :wink:

Re:: ELI MANNING

im not even a giants fan, but today he is saying he might hold out playing b/c the giants cant fit his incentives under thier cap and after all the bullshit during the draft he has the balls to do this. just another spoiled asshole imo

It doesn't happen all the time ... still, don't cry for the Chargers ... they got a great deal

Oh, fcuk him then. He hasn't played a down and he's already like this. Sad, send him to Boston.

undrgrnwmn - it happens a LOT with high profile athelets. IF you're that high profile, you can get what you want, go where you want, get paid what you want. It's sad, but the players dictate to mgmt these days, not the other way around.

and fuck the chargers and the giants imo.

hypoluxxa - yeah, i didn't know that either....definitely then, he can fuck right off with that attitude, especially since he hasn't even taken a snap yet.

Re:: ELI MANNING

yeah fuck Eli. whos is the backup? Warner? start him. fuck the Giants too.

Lets go silver and black! hope they get Eddie George when he gets released.

Eric Lindros did the same thing in hockey when he came through the draft...

refused to play with the Quebec Nordiques (who later came to win the Stanley Cup as the Colorado Avalanche)

so they sent him to Philly... where he was hotheaded enough to get himself injured numerous times in the first two years of his career... thinking he was a big boy able to play rough in the big leagues... basically he made himself more of a liability than an investment...

and he has yet to win the cup...

:roll:

some players need to chill with the egos imo...

Re:: ELI MANNING

What a spoiled brat. All the athletes who complain about getting paid millions of dollars to play a sport should have their careers cut short and forced to work a 9 to 5 job for the rest of their lives. :roll:

Big Bluuuuuuuhoohooooo :cry:

Honestly though the hell with this guy...the hell with the whole family.

Not one of the has even been to the Super Bowl I think.

#222930Post 14 of 24

hold on a second, cowboy... first of all, it probably isn't eli's fault. his agent promised him something that probably couldn't be done. i would be fucking pissed too if i was promised something and didn't get it, especially if i got stuck playing for the giants (you know that wasn't his team of choice).

this i'm not sure of: did eli accept an offer and then the giants changed the terms? or did eli sign the contract THEN say it wasn't good enough?

#222985Post 16 of 24

it actually was his team of choice, wasnt it :?

that doesn't mean they aren't good quarterbacks. look how peyton (along with tony dungee and Marvin Harrison) turned the colts around! peyton deserves to be one of the highest paid athletes because he is one of the best. and i haven't seen peyton be arrogant and complain at all yet. eli hasn't proved himself yet, so i can't speak for him.
it actually was his team of choice. :wink:
was it? i think it was his first choice because that is one of the few teams that were willing to bid for him... i dunno though. all i know is football is too touchy of a subject for me. :ChatterB:

Pre-Season.. 1st snap.. he drops back.. its a fumble, he pounces on it, he's piled on, breaks his leg.. out for the season.. wouldnt it be a shame :lol:

I just meant that somebody letting a team know upfront that he would sit a year out rather than play for a particular team ... that doesn't happen a lot
