the guy was such a leader that he guaranteed a win in game six of the eastern conference finals against new jersey and then scored a hat trick to lead the team to victory!

so glad i went to the final home game at MSG. was amazing. they were chanting his name for a long time, called him out of locker room twice. the whole place stayed full for half hour after the game just cheering.

though i'll admit i think hockey is boring as hell, mark messier is indeed a great athlete and a huge draw for the sport. i bet he got fed up with all the bullshit and gayness surrounding the strike.

sad news.. clemmens mother died today and he IS pitching tonight (farve performance time).
