Stevie's put me through the mill these past few days - I simply blame his Agents who are endemic of the cancer affecting football (Gooners know all about this following Ashley Cole's ill advised saga).

Its a good day for football - there are so few one-club players these days : they kiss your badge one week, the next week they are kissing another.

Plus Chelski's millions are set to ruin the domestic and european game .. who can realistically compete with a club that wastes ?27m on Dogba one year, and then can pay ?40m for Gerrard ?25m for Sean Wright-Phillips and ?57m+ for Shevchenko.

For me Gerrard summed it all up in an emotional interview:

Steve G has alot ass licking to do if hes gonna get the fans back on board he'll probably do the same next season and as for SWP going to Liverpool NO CHANCE he'll be Chelsea bound and we are supposed to getting 22 million and Joe Cole :(

Agreed - no way that will happen. If Chelsea sold Cole they'd get 10-15mill for him, so 22mill PLUS him, no chance.
