As the footie season has finished I thought I'd start a thread regarding the much hyped (and agent driven) summer rumour mill.

As football players increasingly struggle to put food on the table with their miserly ?55,000 a week pay offers, it becomes their agents job to link that "over the hill has-been" with YOUR club ... naturally at a cost of millions, plus a massive signing on fee/bonus and a more reasonable ?100k a week wedge (those Aston Martin's/Ferrari's and all that tatty bling don't come cheap you know).

Patrick Vieira has been sensationally dragged into the Ashley Cole tapping-up storm. Arsenal skipper Vieira is accused of sending text messages telling Cole to demand ?80,000 a week in his pay row with club chiefs.

If Liverpool get Raul... that would be fucking awesome. Must be a decent chance too - Best mate Morientes is with us already, together with Benitez, Alonso, Garcia and others, we're European Champions :D and we could guarantee him a strikers role, as opposed to out wide where Madrid have been sticking him.

Van Der Sar just signed for Man U, excellent signing for them. :(

I can't believe Chelski are tapping up other Teams staff just a few days after Cole-gate ... It shows a complete disregard for the Premier Leagues rules.
