i have 2 prior roommates, one was in the military and I think he was either portuguese or peruvian, the other is from Azores. Both have similar stories.
I rented a bedroom from them back in my rental days, upon moving out, both of them got into online poker. Both of them were foreclosed on, one had a condo the other a townhouse. Both would go days without leaving the house, just playing poker. 1 of them still plays poker and calls it his "job." Oh and both play online only.
Online poker seems absurd to me. How can you be sure it's legit? And although it's definitely not a sport, I can see why you posted it here instead of GYY. Nobody starts threads in GYY (besides me and a few others) out of fear of ...... I dunno, rejection? I don't even know why actually :lol:.
