Mourinho is back @ Chelsea (was the other favourite for the job) and won't be going anywhere any time soon...

There are only a handful of suitable candidates and they are all employed.

Man City and Chelsea the main contenders will have transition periods under new or returning managers so maybe MAN U wont be lagging behind to much...not seen much of them in pre season apart from destroying a A-League all stars team..they lost to the thai all stars though.

If it all goes pear shaped and they fuck him off a encore caretaker role for SAF or Guus Hiddink?

All this before a ball has been kicked...modern football is so short term focused he might not get the time Sir Alex did.

It always amazes me the amount of people calling for the Man U manager to be sacked while they do a sub standard job themselves. If you expect others to do an excellent job, do an excellent job yourself.
