So, what are your thoughts? Will you be watching the matches? Will you even be there? Are you placing some bets? Or are you boycotting the EC cause of what's going on in the Ukraine?

Personally, I am looking forward to following the matches etc. Normally I'm not into watching football, but European and World Championships are different. I can relate to the teams, since they are respreseting their countries. I think that makes it a hell of a lot more fun :)

I hope Germany will win, since I'm German. But still, I'd be cheering for some other countries as well, e.g. Greece.

Will be interesting to see how England get on under new management now as-well as a few different squad choices. I got Poland in the sweepstake at work so guess i'll give them a little cheers for what its worth.

Re: European Football Championship 2012

Stop talking rubbish. Some ignoramus and oversensitive missies have made a mountain out of a molehill because of local ultras as if there were no ultras in the UK, Russia, Italy or elsewhere. To be perfectly frank I always have quite a fun when I hear about the racism diarrhea the British ail from when Terry and Suarez, among others, are charged with a racially aggravated public order offence. Some US idiots sue McDonald's for spilling hot coffee and now some UK idiots keep seeing racism everywhere. At least Poles have never been in slave trading industry so let me now ask our British friends to deal with their racism and slavery stigmas and sins on their own. It wasn't my grandmother who sailed to Africa and took captive Sol Cambell's grandmother and shipped her to Alabama to harvest cotton.

Perhpas we should talk now about Australian government authorised homicide in Aboriginal societies?

Re: European Football Championship 2012

I know that this is a media hype, and it defeats the purpose of the slogan/campaign for FIFA on 'Say no to Racism.' But the Football in Eastern Europe is renowned for violent fans and the likes. Yeah it is a little justification of a overstatement.

And when exactly did Australian Govt Agencies authorise homicide in Indigenous Aboriginal societies?
